We've hit the big 10!

So today it is official we have made it to our 10 years of wedded bliss!!! I decided to look up what the 10 year wedding anniversay milestone was and it says this: A marriage that lasts ten years is as durable and beautiful as a diamond. I thought that fit exactly what I was feeling having hit the mark. We have had our ups and downs for sure but it has truly been worth it. To think back to where we started and see where we are at now is humbling and fills me with joy.

Who would have thought that over 10 years ago playing Sega while I waited for Laurie to get ready would have led to this.

We have had our trials and our tears. We have felt the unexplainable joys and such happiness that it is overwhelming. My grandmother always said that every 10 years a person changes and I can really understand that. I don't think Jeff and I are the same people we were when we married. There are still lingering pieces of those two but we have become more of one than two seperate people trying to play house. Our life is crazy and hectic at times and relaxing and fun at others. The joys of life truly teach you alot.
We'd like to say a big thank you again to all our friends and family who have supported us and cared. We really can't make it in this world without friends and family. They are there for the best and worst of times and it helps you get through life.
We love you all and here is to another 10 wonderful years. Lets hope they are a bit smoother than the first!!

Cruisin'

Happy big 10 years!! To celebrate we took a cruise to Alaska. A huge thank you to Ken and MarGene for watching our 2 little ones so we could go. I'm sure their week was a bit more crazy then ours. We enjoyed just being together and relaxing. It was fun to take a cruise and have constant stuff to do. We were always entertained and there was plenty of food. Besides the great ports we were able to see a whale spout out, a bald eagle fly overhead while we were in the hot tub, fish literally jump right out of the water, and the most beautiful scenery ever. It was truly a wonderful week and a great present we gave to ourselves. I could go on and on and tell you about each day but then my blog would be huge. I've posted a slide show that follows this of some highlights from the trip. You'll notice they are mostly of Jeff, I spend most of the time behind the camera. I wonder where I get that from :} We really did have a great time and we'd like to say thanks to all the friends and family that have kept in touch. Thank you for always being there. Love ya!!!!!

Happy 4th Birthday!!

Our little man turned 4 years old today!! To celebrate we took him out to a play place called Odessey1. It has a huge indoor play structure and arcade games. He had a wonderful time and I think played with just about everything they had. It was an awesome day and one he really enjoyed!!!

Schools Out!!

School is out for summer and we kicked it off with a birthday party! One of Jeff's co-workers son had a 3rd birthday and Jeff was asked to be the balloon animal guy :} Jeff made figures for at least an hour and the most popular was a sword. I think he practiced for a good 2 weeks before the party and I have been picking up balloon bits around the house daily. The kids enjoyed the nice backyard and we all had a blast. It was nice to just get out and have some fun without having to worry about schedules and school stuff.
Since the party and school being out we've been gearing up for our road trip to California. We've tried to pack or get something regarding the trip done each day and we are almost ready to go. I'd hope so since we leave tomorrow morning :} In between packing and getting ready we've also started trying out new parks in the area. We think we finally found one that the we all really like. The kids had a blast there yesterday and didn't want to leave. I think half of Puyallup must have been there, we had a beautiful day out.
We are really excited to visit Salinas and all our friends that we miss so much. It will be nice to be "home" for a little bit and we can't wait. I'll be taking the camera so I hope to get some good shots to share. We can't wait and will update you all on how it went when we get back.

Hello

Greetings from Puyallup Washington!
We are slowly adjusting to life here in WA. It is hard to believe that we have been here for almost two years. We are just plugging along each day. Jeff is going strong at United Rentals and loving it. Megan is finishing her kingergarten school year and can't wait to be a first grader. She talks about it almost daily. Andrew is finishing his first preschool year with the special education department for his speech delay. We have made some great progress already and can't wait for another year. I've been keeping myself busy by working for Cardinale from home and doing my "mom" duties. It's not the most exciting of blogs but our life just the same. Laurie called tonight to tell us about blogging and it sounded fun. I think it will be awesome to add friends to my blog list and keep in touch with old friends in a fun way. I look forward to adding to my blog site and reading yours.
